2. Company Information

Business name: Carvex-8
Contact email: carvex8.autocare@gmail.com

3. General Terms

By booking our services or leaving a vehicle with us for detailing, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all services provided by our company.

We reserve the right to refuse service if the vehicle condition presents a safety risk or if the requested service is not appropriate for the vehicle.

4. Vehicle Condition

The customer must ensure that the vehicle is safe to work on and disclose any known issues with the vehicle that may affect the detailing process.

All personal belongings must be removed from the vehicle before the appointment. We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left inside the vehicle.

5. Pre-Existing Damage

Vehicles may have existing defects such as scratches, swirl marks, dents, stone chips, worn paint, or damaged interior materials.

Cleaning, polishing, and detailing processes may reveal or make existing defects more visible.
We are not responsible for any pre-existing damage that becomes visible during or after the detailing process.

Where necessary, we may photograph the vehicle before starting work for documentation purposes.

6. Paintwork and Surface Risk

Some vehicles may have previously repainted panels, weak clear coat, thin paint layers, or hidden defects that are not visible prior to cleaning or polishing.

During the detailing process these defects may become visible or may worsen due to the underlying condition of the paintwork or surfaces.

While all services are performed with professional care, we cannot guarantee the condition of previously repaired, repainted, or weakened surfaces.

7. Expectations of Results

Detailing services aim to significantly improve the appearance of the vehicle but cannot guarantee the complete removal of all defects.

Certain imperfections such as deep scratches, stone chips, severe paint damage, or material wear may remain after the service.

Detailing is a cosmetic improvement service and is not a substitute for body repair, paintwork, or restoration services.

8. Ceramic Coating and Protective Treatments

Some services, including ceramic coatings and other protective treatments, require curing time after application.

During this period the vehicle should not be washed or exposed to harsh chemicals for the time recommended by our technicians.

Failure to follow aftercare instructions may affect the durability or performance of the treatment.

9. Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

We are not responsible for mechanical failures, electrical faults, or damage resulting from previously poor repairs, deteriorated materials, or weak paintwork.

We are also not responsible for any indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable UK law.

10. Personal Property

Customers are responsible for removing valuables and personal belongings from the vehicle before the appointment.

We are not responsible for any personal items left in the vehicle.

11. Media and Marketing Use

During the detailing process we may photograph or record video of the vehicle before, during, and after the service.

These images and videos may be used for marketing, promotional, and educational purposes, including but not limited to our website, social media platforms, and video platforms such as YouTube.

We do not publish personal information about vehicle owners. Where possible, vehicle registration numbers or identifying details may be obscured.

If a customer prefers that their vehicle does not appear in photos or videos, they must inform us before the service begins.

12. Professional Judgement

Our technicians reserve the right to determine the safest and most appropriate detailing methods for each vehicle.

In some cases certain services may be modified or stopped if continuing the process could risk damage to the vehicle.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By booking our services or leaving a vehicle with us, the customer confirms that they have had the opportunity to review and accept these Terms & Conditions.

Failure to read these terms does not exempt the customer from them.

14. Customer Inspection and Satisfaction

Customers are encouraged to inspect the vehicle upon completion of the service.

Any concerns regarding the service must be raised before the vehicle leaves our premises so that we have the opportunity to review and address them.

Once the vehicle has been collected and removed from our premises, the service will be considered accepted and completed.

15. Deposits and Appointment Reservations

A deposit may be required to secure an appointment.

The deposit is taken to reserve time, resources, and preparation for the service.

In the event of cancellation or failure to attend, the deposit may be retained as compensation for lost time and the inability to fill the reserved slot at short notice.

We reserve the right to retain a deposit in an amount that is reasonable and proportionate to the time and costs incurred.

16. Photos and Videos

We may take photos and videos of the vehicle for internal and marketing purposes.

Such materials may be used on social media, the website, or in promotional content.

Where possible, identifying details such as registration plates may be obscured or edited.

17. Vehicle Collection

Customers are expected to collect their vehicle within the agreed timeframe once the service has been completed.

We reserve the right to charge a reasonable storage fee for vehicles left on our premises beyond the agreed collection time.

18. Payment

Full payment for services must be made before the vehicle is released to the customer.
